Pricing and Purchase Locations

You'll pay a fare whenever you hop on a METRO bus or you can purchase your bus pass on your mobile device through the EZfare mobile ticketing app. EZfare is also available on Moovit, Transit app, and Uber.

General Single Ride Pass

Price: $1.25 per ride** (up to 2 children age 5 and under can ride free with a fare-paying adult)

Price: $2.50 per pass**

Older Adults & Persons With Disabilities (D&S)

Price: .50 per ride, with proof of age, METRO Drives, METRO D&S photo ID or Medicare Card.
$30.00 per month, good for 31 consecutive days** with proof of age, METRO Drives, METRO D&S photo ID or Medicare Card.

(Must be 62 years of age or older. Transfers to other routes are an additional fare)

Transfers

If you need to head outside of Summit County, METRO can help you link up with other transit systems.

In fact, Stark Area Regional Transit Authority (SARTA) and Western Reserve Transit Authority (WRTA) pull buses into our Transit Center. Click the links below for more information.

METRO also honors transfers from SARTA, WRTA , MCPT and GCRTA. In other words, if you transfer to METRO service from another local transit authority, you will get one free ride on a METRO bus. Make sure you have the transfer slip issued from the outside transit system, and we will happily accept it!

SARTA, GCRTA, Laketran, Medina County, Lorain County and Brunswick all have entered into an agreement to honor each agency’s transfers from where the two agency’s routes connect (Excluding boarding METRO’s Northcoast Express service. METRO will still issue transfers to other systems from Northcoast Express).
